Eureka! -My Readign List

Okay, so I've been pondering lately as to what exactly am I going to blog about. I kept thinking, and thinking, and then it hit me! BOOKS! I love books.I love reading, talking, writing about books! Everything! I'm always going on and on about books to my friends, and even strangers. I may rant on how much I hated it (eruditely of course), or on how it made me, cry, shout, laugh, or ill (yes, ill! There are books out there that are way too gory for my tummy). So the deal is that I have this list from my state's university, given to me by my previous English teacher, that lists all the books a person should read. It has around 50 something titles. I've only read 5 books from it. -sigh- I have a long way to go. Well I'm going to be blog my experience with these books, but I'm not just going to limit myself to this list. No, I'm gonna blog about other books that I come across. Even books I've read already, which will probably be what I start off with. I just want y'all to know that I am solely giving creative criticism to books base on what they have stirred in me. I have no professional expertise/degree in literature or what have you. I'm just a reader who loves to talk about books. With that said, I can't wait to start. Let's see where this takes me.

Real Artist

I wish we had "mainstream" artists like Feist, Lykke Li, and Brandi Carlile. They are true muses. I mean, they don't even need to sell their music through there body, like, er...artists that rhyme Shmarry Pearry, or K-shaw. Just take this music video. It's amazing. So full of art, and innovation. They really sent a message of creativity, and their songs have meaning.

A blog for myself

Well, I've decided to create a blog where I can just write down the nonsense that goes on in my mind. Also, I was inspired to make a blog when I went to a Journalism Convention. Apparently having a blog gives one great advantages when applying for a job. Who knew!  Okay, so hopefully I'll fill this blog with stuff and not abandon it as I have other things.
